BALTIC's Sensory Room is a quiet space to play and explore with sensory toys, projections and lights. There's no need to book, drop-in for free anytime Wednesday-Sunday 10am-6pm.
Inside BALTIC's Sensory Room there are fibre optics, a bubble tube, a light table with coloured shapes and a projector. There's also light-up orbs and cubes, large soft shapes, wipe-able matting and a sofa to relax on.
The safety of our visitors and staff remains our highest priority, and we’ve got safety measures in place when you visit. We will be encouraging a low number of visitors in BALTIC’s Sensory Room, but we'd like to get back to babies meeting each other. Chat to BALTIC Crew if you have questions or need help with this. This may mean a short wait to use the space, as well as taking turns with other visitors. Please be patient as we work together to stay safe.
Face coverings are mandatory in line with Government guidelines. You must wear a face covering when visiting BALTIC unless you are exempt / under age 11.
There's hand sanitiser available outside BALTIC’s Sensory Room and we’ll continue our increased cleaning of the space.
We kindly ask that before and after using BALTIC’s Sensory Room you use the communal cleaning equipment to wipe down the equipment you've used. This will help keep the space safe for other families. Thank you for your ongoing support.
