Front Room

Front Room offers hospitality, care and kind conversation to all.

Front Room is a free place to pause and have a chat; about art, about our exhibitions, about life, about yourselves. Take a seat, eat your own packed lunch here or enjoy a free hot drink or squash (donations welcome). Our friendly Crew will be in Front Room to welcome you on your visit.

We offer pay what you feel hot drinks/squash and snacks (donations welcome) plus traybakes and sweet/savoury pastries are available to buy from a local supplier.

Front Room is a space for congregation, creativity and celebration. Throughout the year, we are hosting a series of welcoming events to support national and regional campaigns and celebrations in the space.

We want you to join in, whether you want to rest, read or make a difference to our world. Drop in, chat to Baltic Crew and get involved.

Summer Holidays

Make Your Mark
Thursdays 2pm-4pm

Throughout the Summer holidays, explore themes of identity and difference through inspiring conversation and creative making with The Anne Frank Trust UK. Each week, you'll be introduced to a different creative activity, with something to take home with you afterwards. Accessible for all but particularly aimed at children and young people aged 9-16 years.

The Anne Frank Trust UK is an education charity, that empowers young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to challenge all forms of prejudice and discrimination. Find out more about the sessions here.
